The Ice King™ "Lost of dire light" captures an idyllic winterscape. Can't decide whether the final track equals or tops it, but I do know it is a perfect finale for this album. Favorite track: Lost of dire light.

The winds awake with the final autumns twilight Sky so dark, shrouded with clouds, snow slowly falls In the distance, the mountains and woods, the winds howl, the welcoming chants. The cold breeze, awakening my heart from the slumber... Awakening me, to see the winter's might rising To travel the desolate paths, finding the mystic gates to winter's empire With winds awakening, I rise again…

Winter 07:12
Awake to the spectre of freezing earth Let her majesty cast her spells upon us And yet we still wander upon the moon shine Searching through forests and frozen castles Let the wind speak through us Inhaling the breath of hollowness And when the sun dies... we rise again To subject to spells of her majesty... ...winter... To travel eternally in shadows and snow And when the world dies... we shall return...

A sword, crafted ages ago In the mountains- by ancient powers Travel through the woods, the hills To find your roots: A sword buried in the frozen cave, watch the glory reflect in its blade The glory of past heroes, now gone, yet not forgotten by their trusty arms. Take the handle and retrieve the ancestral might hidden within it's cold steel Power foretold by the prophecy “The power of the bearer is the will of gods, to wield the almighty blade, crushing the ones, that once crushed us. On the mountain alone he shall stand, snows and winds will be by his side. The wind will become the war cry, opening this great battle again. The snow shall turn red from the impure blood spilt, and their temples will burn. The snow will bury their bodies, forever crushing the memory of them. And they will perish in the fight against us, the loyal servants of winter empire. This is the will of gods- restore the ancient pagan pride!”

To wander in the woods and fields To reflect nostalgia in frozen lakes To find serenity in silence To rejoice in isolation, hoping for peace of the soul
7.
And for eternity you travelled the path of endless solitude In isolation, conquering horizons As night and day alike fueled the drowning will of an empty soul And even after the ceturies the journey is far from over. You wandered through the woods, mountains, fields and valleys And now reaching the coast, with no place to go. And from the coasts, frozen oceans expand Perhaps something more is hidden beyond them…
